    1 lb. ground beef
    1/2 medium onion, chopped
    1/2 cup milk
    1 egg, beaten
    8 crushed soda crackers
    salt & pepper to taste

    Sauce:
    1/4 cup ketchup
    1/4 cup water
    1 tsp. dry mustard
    1/2 cup brown sugar

    Recipe



    Combine ground beef, onion, milk, egg, crackers, salt and pepper and mix well. Place in a large loaf pan and make a groove down the center of loaf.

    In a bowl combine ketchup, water, mustard and brown sugar. Pour over meat and bake at 350° for 1 hour; drain. Serve with baked potatoes and a green vegetable. Serves 4-6.
