    Strawberry Pretzel Salad

    List of Ingredients




    2 C. crushed pretzels (not too fine)
    3/4 C. melted butter
    3 T. sugar
    1 8-oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 C. sugar
    1 8-oz. container Cool Whip
    2 small pkgs. strawberry jello
    2 C. boiling water
    2 (10-oz.) pkgs. of frozen sliced strawberries in syrup

    Recipe



    CRUST: Combine pretzels, melted butter and sugar. Reserve 1 T.. Pat into a 9"x13" clear glass cassereole dish. Bake crust for 8 min. at 375°. Let cool.

    Filling: In a mediium bowl, beat 1 C. sugar into cream cheese until smooth. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread mixture over pretzel crust.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the jello & water, stirring until jllo is disolved. Add strawberries. Let stand for 15 mintes or until partially set. Pour ver the cream cheese mixture. Sprinkle reserved crushed pretzels over top. Chill for several hours.
