    some uses - finely crush and add to chantilly cream (vanilla flavoured whipped cream. Serve with desserts or as a cake filling
    -lightly crush and use to decorate chocolate truffles
    -use pieces as a garnish on mousses or parfaits
    -break up and wrap in an interesting container as a quick gift idea.
    -just eat it while watching tv or out for a late night drive (of course)


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups sugar
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 cup unsalted peanuts (can use any unsalted nuts really)


    Instructions


    1. Place sugar and water in saucepan and allow to simmer without stirring
    2. Keep watch for syrup to change colour. Allow it to turn a light golden colour.
    3. Rewmove from heat and toss epanuts through it.
    4. Pour into a lightly greased tray and cool. Take care, toffee will be very very hot.
    5. when cold break into bite sized pieces and serve.
