    Simple Chilli Con Carne

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 tsp canola or olive oil
    • 375g pasta sauce (it was Paul Newman's Sockarooni)
    • 500g lean beef mince (or kangaroo)
    • 1 tbs chopped parsley
    • 300g red kidney beans
    • mexican chilli powder


    Instructions


    1. Heat oil on high in large deep frypan. Fry mince, stirring constantly until well browned.
    2. Stir in "sockarooni" and drained (or cooked) beans. Bring to boil.
    3. Reduce to low, cover and simmer gently 20 minutes. Add parsley and season with chilli powder.
    4. Serve over baked jacket potatoes or rice. Accompany with a salad.
