Tuna and Bean Salad

This is nutritious, filling and can easily be dressed up as required.
List of Ingredients
- 1/2 tin 4 bean mix or cannelini beans (put the rest in a container with a lid in the fridge)
- 1 little tin flavoured tuna
- 1 spring onion finely sliced (or use some red onion)
Instructions
- Mix together and eat. See below for details to improve it.
- Serve with lettuce or alfalfa sprouts
- Add chopped herbs - coriander or mint is best. basil or parsley might be good
- Serve with wholegrain bread and butter
- Add the dressing of your choice (especially if u use unfavoured tuna - recommended french, italian, thousand island or your choice.
- Chopped tomato or cucumber or carrot and celery stick can be nice in the salad
- vegetable like beans can be nice in the salad if not overcooked, ditto corn or potatoes.
- This is a good filling lunch to take with you or a quick meal at home.
Final Comments
The 3 ingredients are the basics, only add other things if you want to.
