    Goes well with brussels sprouts or as liked


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cloves of garlic (sliced finely)
    • equivalent size of ginger (sliced finely)
    • boiling water
    • whole chicken breasts
    • pandan/rampa leaves
    • toothpicks
    • gladbake (or similar) paper
    • black sesame seeds (optional)


    Instructions


    1. Place a pot of boiling water on the stove. Add in sliced garlic and ginger and let infuse while you prepare chicken.
    2. Wrap whole chook breasts in the leaves (securely and completely) secure with toothpicks.
    3. Place in poach liquid (must be totally covered)
    4. Cover pot, putting bake paper under lid to avoid the slightest crack.
    5. Place over murmuring heat (even lower than simmer) for 2 min.
    6. Switch off but DO NOT TOUCH LID. Heat will stay in and fillets will cook. Give them about 10-20 mins. If needed you will have to cook them again because raw chicken is just bad.
    7. When ready sprinkle with the sesame if desired. Serve with carbs/veg as you like
