    German Chocolate Cheese Pie

    Best if chilled overnight.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup sugar
    1 tbsp vanilla
    3 8 oz packages of cream cheese, softened
    4 oz pkg Baker's German Sweet Chocolate, melted and cooled.
    5 eggs
    1 tbsp lemon juice

    Optional: Chocolate curls and or whipped cream

    Recipe



    In a bowl, add sugar to cream cheese. Blend well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Measure 2 cups of cheese mixture. Fold in chocolate to this mixture. Add lemon juice to the remaining cheese mixture. Pour into well-buttered 10" pie pan. Top with chocolate mixture. Very lightly swirl the mixtures once. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes. Cool, then chill.

    Cut into pie wedges. Add chocolate curls and or whipped cream and serve. Yields 12 servings.
