    Aunt Letha and Uncle Steve would bring these to Christmas every year. It is a family tradition. They are so good. I like the ones without nuts personally. They are very rich!

    List of Ingredients




    2 c. sugar
    ¾ c. lt. Corn syrup
    ½ c. real butter
    2 c. Half ‘n Half

    Recipe



    Bring slowly to a boil, stirring constantly –

    2 c. sugar
    ¾ c. lt. Corn syrup
    ½ c. real butter
    2 c. Half ‘n Half

    Stir frequently as mixture thickens, and constantly as it darkens.

    Cook to 235 degrees.

    Pour into buttered 7” square pan with pecans on bottom, if desired.
