    Recipe Introduction

You can't have enough fun making caramel corn out of a brown paper grocery sack. Grandma would use a a Marsh paper bag. I have good childhood memories making this from Grandma's red microwave.

    2 bags of microwave popcorn
    1 c. brown sugar
    ¼ c. lt. corn syrup
½ c. real butter (hot, melted)

    Recipe

First, pop 2 bags of microwave popcorn and put popped kernels into a large brown grocery bag

    Mix and microwave 2 minutes

    1 c. brown sugar

    ¼ c. lt. corn syrup

½ c. real butter (hot, melted)

Stir mixture and microwave 2 minutes more

Add ½ t. soda and stir

Pour over popped corn in bag, shake well

    Microwave 1 minute, shake well
