    List of Ingredients




    ½ c. diced carrots
    2/3 c. diced celery
    ½ c. water
    dash salt
    Scant ½ c. all purpose flour
    2 t. salt
    ½ c. turkey fat + butter
    2 c. skimmed broth + hot vegetable liquid
    ½ c. cooked green peas
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 c. cooked turkey, chopped
    1 T. Accent (optional)
    ½ c. potatoes (optional)
    5 freshly made, unbaked biscuits

    Recipe



    Cook carrots and celery together in boiling salted water 15 minutes. Drain. Reserve liquid for gravy.

    Scant ½ c. all purpose flour
    2 t. salt
    ½ c. turkey fat + butter
    2 c. skimmed broth + hot vegetable liquid

    Blend flour, salt, butter. Stir into hot liquid. Cook and stir constantly until thickened.

    Combine gravy, vegetables, and turkey
    Place hot mixture in greased baking pan

    Place 5 freshly made, unbaked biscuits on top of mixture.

    Bake 35 minutes at 425 degree oven

    Serve with extra biscuits on the side, salad, and dessert.
