    THE MAMA'S COOK BOOK - Mrs. Frank Gilmore

    List of Ingredients




    2 cups flour sifted

    Resift with:
    4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp salt
    2 tsp. sugar

    Combine:
    1 1/2 cups milk
    2 egg yolks
    1-3 cup cooking oil

    2 egg whites

    Recipe



    Add gradually to dry ingredients, stirring only until flour disappears. Fold in: 2 egg whites, beaten stiff, but not dry. Bake in hot waffle iron. Waffles will be crisp if cooked to a golden brown.
