    List of Ingredients




    4 cups flour
    2 cups sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    6 eggs
    1-3 cup water or milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. lemon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 large grated nutmeg
    1 1/2 lb. seedless raisins
    1 quart nuts

    Recipe



    Cream butter and sugar. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk. Flour nuts and raisins and add to cake mixture. Bake in 275 degree oven for 3 hours or 250 for 3/5 hours.
