    THE MAMA'S COOK BOOK - Mrs. Nora Blandford

    Recipe Introduction


    The MAMA'S COOK BOOK was prepared by the Pre-School Group of the Louisville (Georgia) Parent Teacher Association many years ago when most women knew the ins and outs of cooking. Therefore part of the directions are sometimes left out.

    List of Ingredients




    3 eggs
    1 cup sugar
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    2 tbsp. melted butter
    1 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Beat eggs. Add sugar, lemon juice and butter. Cook over hot water, stirring constantly until thick. Cool. Add vanilla. Chill. This filling is enough for a two layer cake.
