    2 inch cubed salt pork diced small
    1 onion finely chopped
    4 medium potatoes peeled and diced
    3 cups water
    2 cups corn kernels
    3 cups milk
    3 tbsp butter
    Salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe



    Cook salt pork slowly in deep pan until fat is melted and pieces are brown. Pour off all but 2 tbsp fat. Add onion and cook 5 minutes. Add potatoes and 3 cups of water. Cook until potatoes are just tender. Add corn and milk. Cook five minutes more. Before serving add the butter, salt and pepper. Reheat.
