CREAM SOUP MIX
1 cup powdered low-fat milk
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup instant chicken bouillon cubes
2 TBL dried onion flakes
1 tsp basil
1 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp pepper
Mix all ingredients together. Store in an airtight container until ready to use. For the equivalent of 1 can of cream soup, substitute 1/3 cup dry mix & 1 1/4 cups cold water. Cook in a saucepan until thick. Dry mix yields the equivalent of 9 cups of canned soup.
