    This is Dave's favorite cake ever.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cube margerine (I'm sure butter would work too)
    • 1 c oatmeal
    • 1 1/2 c boiling water
    • 1 c brown sugar
    • 1 c sugar
    • 2 eggs (I'v never used real eggs in this I use a powder baking egg replacer but I"m sure eggs are fine, because the more fat the better in most recipes right)
    • 1/4 tsp salt
    • 1 1/2 c flour
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 tsp nutmeg
    • SAUCE
    • 1 c sugar
    • 1 cube margerine (or butter)
    • 1/2 can evaporated milk


    Instructions


    1. mix first 3 ingredients and set aside for 20 minutes
    2. In separate bowl, mix remaining ingredients excluding sauce ingredients
    3. add oatmeal mixture mix well
    4. pour in greased 9X13 pan

    5. cook on 350 for 30-35 minutes
    6. mix ingredients under SAUCE all together in pan on stove and pour over individual peices of cake
