    List of Ingredients


    • 1 c. butter
    • 1 c. sugar
    • 2 c. coconut
    • 1 1/2 c. slivered almonds
    • 1c. Karo syrup
    • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 (12 oz.) box Rice or Corn Chex


    Instructions


    1. Boil butter, karo, and sugar for 1 minute; remove from heat and add soda.
    2. Stir well, pour over Chex, coconut, and almonds.
    3. Spread on 2 buttered cookie sheets and bake at 250 for 5 minutes.
