    PINEAPPLE UPSIDE-DOWN CAKE

    List of Ingredients




    1/3 cup butter
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
    1 cup light brown sugar
    1 large can sliced pineapple
    cherries to go in centers
    1/2 cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 cup flour
    1/2 cup milk
    1/2 t. vanilla
    1 t. baking powder

    Recipe



    Melt 1/3 cup of butter in iron skillet, or 9x13 pan)
    Mix nuts with brown sugar and spread over butter.
    Lay pineapple slices evenly over mixture and put cherries in middle of pineapple rings.
    Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar.
    Add eggs, beating well after each.
    Add flour and milk, a little at a time, then add vanilla and baking powder.
    Pour over pineapple and bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
    Let stand 5 minutes then invert
    Serves 10-12 or in my house 4
