    1 cup butter or margarine, softened
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    4 ounces white candy coating, melted
    1 tsp almond extract
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    2 1/2 cups cake flour
    1 tsp baking powder
    1 cup buttermilk
    1 cup flaked coconut
    White Frosting Of Choice

    In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating
    well after each addition. Add candy coating and the extracts. Beat well.
    Combine the flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately
    with buttermilk. Stir in coconut. Pour into two greased 9 inch round
    baking pans. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted
    near the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from
    pans to wire racks to cool completely. Frost between layers. Frost top and
    sides of cake.

    Yield: 12 servings
