    Honey Mustard Meatloaf

    This recipe was given to me by a friend.


    Recipe Introduction


    This is the first meat loaf that I have made that passes my fussy young daughters approval.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
    • 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
    • 2 eggs
    • 1/2 c. chopped onion
    • 1 tsp. basil
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 3 tbsp. dijon mustard
    • 3 tbsp. honey
    • 2 tbsp. green onion, chopped


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
    2. Combine meat, crumbs, onion, basil, salt and pepper.
    3. Stir in eggs, mixing lightly, but thoroughly.
    4. Shape into loaf.
    5. Combine honey and mustard, brush half mixture on loaf.
    6. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
    7. Brush with remaining honey mustard mixture.
    8. Bake for 20 to 30 minutes more.

    Serves 6 to 8
