    Chocolate Macaroon Brownies

    Recipe Introduction


    Preheat oven to 375 and grease a 13"x9" pan.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 pkg brownie mix
    • 2 egg whites
    • 14 oz. bag sweetened flaked coconut
    • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
    • 1/2 cup sliced almonds
    • 2 tbsp. chocolate chips
    • 1 tsp. vegetable oil


    Instructions


    1. Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and spread in pan. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until brownie is set. Do not over bake. Remove to cooling rack.
    2. Mix egg whites, coconut and condensed milk. Spread over top of brownie base. Sprinkle with almonds. Return to oven and bake for 25 minutes or until edges of coconut are deep golden brown. Remove to cooling rack.
    3. Melt chocolate with oil in microwave. Try 10-12 seconds at a time and stir so the chocolate doesn't burn. Drizzle melted chocolate over brownie.
