    COOK TIME 12 Min

You've just booked your ticket to the Mediterranean and you don't even have to leave home. Our Mediterranean Baked Tuna recipe will leave you feeling like a god (or goddess) of the kitchen!

    What You'll Need:
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
    • 4 (4-ounce) tuna steaks (1/2-inch-thick)
    • 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
    • 2 teaspoons dried rosemary
    • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 2 plum tomatoes, chopped

    What To Do:
    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

    2. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon oil over the bottom of a 9- x 13-inch baking dish. Place the tuna in the baking dish and sprinkle with the remaining 1 tablespoon oil and the balsamic vinegar. Sprinkle the rosemary, red pepper, and salt evenly over the tuna.

    3. Top the tuna with the tomatoes and bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the tuna is cooked to desired doneness.

    Notes:
This is a perfect dish to make if you like your tuna steak medium-rare or even rare. Just make sure to use very fresh tuna and reduce the cooking time to achieve the desired doneness.
