Want to get that great Teriyaki flavor into your favorite dish? This marinade is sure to add flavor to whatever you're grilling. This marinade works particularly well with pork and poultry. You can make an extra batch, boil it down until thickened and drizzle on top of sliced grilled meats and vegetables.

    Ingredients:
    • 1 cup/240 mL low-sodium soy sauce
    • 1 cup/240 mL water
    • 3/4 cup/180 mL sugar
    • 1/4 cup/60 mL Worcestershire sauce
    • 3 tablespoons/45 mL distilled white vinegar
    • 3 tablespoons/45 mL vegetable oil
    • 3 teaspoons/15 mL onion powder
    • 2 teaspoons/10 mL garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon/5 mL grated fresh ginger

    Preparation:
Combine all ingredients and mix until sugar is completely dissolved. Use immediately or store in refrigerator for 6-7 days after preparation.
