Meat Bagel Buns

If you're maintaining a low-carb diet, then you've probably used lettuce wraps to replace the bread in your sandwiches before. Well, here's a new idea: Meat Bagel Buns! You'll love this tasty new way to eat your sandwich and keep to your low-carb diet.
What You'll Need:
• 1 pound lean ground beef
• 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
• 1/4 cup liquid egg substitute
• 1/3 cup no-salt-added tomato sauce
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
What To Do:
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Coat a baking sheet with cooking spray.
2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients; mix well. Divide meat into 3 portions. Using your hands, roll 1 portion into a ball and then indent in the middle. Flatten slightly to form a bagel shape. Place the beef bagel on baking sheet and repeat with remaining beef.
3. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until meat is no longer pink. Allow meat bagels to cool slightly, then slice in half.
Notes:
You can fill your Meat Bagel Buns with sliced tomatoes, lettuce, onions, or any other combination of your favorite fillings.
