    Peachy Blueberry Green Tea Smoothie

    Serves: 1
    Total time 6 min.

No need for one of those so-called “energy drinks” that pack more caffeine than your body knows what to do with. This tasty antioxidant-rich smoothie can help take you from zero to hero on days when your get-up-and-go seems to have got-up-and-went.

    Ingredients:
    1 bag green tea
    1/2 cup boiling water
5.3 ounce container fat-free vanilla Greek yogurt
1 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup peach slices (fresh, or canned in 100% juice and drained)
5 to 10 whole ice cubes

    Preparation:
Brew the tea bag in the boiling water for 3 to 5 minutes. Remove the tea bag and let the tea cool to room temperature.

In a blender combine the brewed tea, yogurt, blueberries, peaches and ice cubes (you’ll need less if using frozen fruit, and more if using fresh), and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
