    Who says the only way to enjoy a hamburger is between buns? We use extra-lean ground beef and fresh veggies to make our low-carb, Easy Hamburger Soup tasty and healthy. What a great change-of-pace soup recipe!

    What You'll Need:
    • 1 pound lean ground beef
    • 1/2 cup chopped onion
    • 1 cup thinly sliced carrots
    • 1 cup sliced cabbage
    • 1/2 cup thinly sliced celery
    • 3 cups low sodium, fat-free beef broth
    • 1 cup water
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
    • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

    What To Do:
    1. In a soup pot over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion 6 to 8 minutes, or until meat is browned. Add carrots, cabbage, and celery and cook 5 minutes.

    2. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 25 to 30 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.

    One 1-cup serving equals: Calories 138 (Calories from Fat 40); Total Fat 4.4g (Saturated Fat 1.7g, Trans Fat 0.3g); Protein 19g; Cholesterol 47mg; Sodium 362mg; Total Carbohydrates 6.1g; Dietary Fiber 1.6g; Sugars 3.5g;
