    Crockpot round steak

    Source of Recipe

    My friend Shelly

    List of Ingredients

2-lb round steak, cut into serving-size chunks
    1 onion, chopped
    4 ribs celery, chopped
    4 carrots, chopped
4 potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
    2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. seasoning salt
    ½ tsp. pepper
10¾-oz. can cream of celery, or cream of mushroom soup
    water

    Recipe

    1. Put steak into bottom of slow cooker.
    2. Stir vegetables, seasonings, and soup together in large bowl. Pour over meat.
    3. Add water if needed to cover meat and vegetables.
    4. Cover. Cook on Low 8 hours.

(Shelly's added instructions: Now, here's what I did. First of all, your carrots are going to take the longest to cook so place them on the bottom. I used baby carrots and just left them whole.

Second, I put the potatoes in, then I put the meat ON TOP. Then I sprinkled a little bit of Lawry's seasoning salt on top of the meat.

I mixed the cream of celery with the salt, pepper, seasoning salt, and water. Then poured it over the meat.

I cooked it 2 hours on High, then 3½ hours on Low, then finally another ½ hour on High.

The meat was fork tender and all the vegetables were completely done.)
