    List of Ingredients


    • 6 cups sharp cheese (Coon by Kraft or good NY State
    • 3 sticks real butter
    • 3 1/2 cups self-rising flour
    • 1/4 teaspoon to 1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce


    Instructions


    1. Grate cheese (let soften).

    2. Add butter - can use flat blade of food processor to mix.

    3. Gradually add flour and tabasco. Blend until smooth.

    4. Spray baking sheets with Pam.

    5. Put dough in cookie press and press out in long straws.

    6. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven 15-20 minutes until light brown and firm to touch.

    7. After baking, cut long straws into 2 inch pieces.



    Final Comments


    Makes about 100 2 inch straws.
    Freezes well if stored in air-tight containers.
