List of Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs (one at a time)
- 1 Tablespoon baking powder (sift in flour)
- 1 cup country butter (2 sticks softened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- flour (several cups until dough is stiff) Jo Bell didn't measure!
Instructions
- Cream the butter. Add sugar and cream. Add eggs one at a time and beat throughly. Add vanilla.
- Sift flour and baking powder together. Add to creamed butter, sugar, and eggs by hand until dough is stiff.
- Turn onto floured board, roll out to 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut with circle cookie cutter.
- Place on a greased baking sheet. Bake at 325 for 12 to 15 minutes.
Final Comments
Can refridgerate overnight.
