Coca-Cola Cake and Cola Icing

List of Ingredients



• 2 cups flour
  
• 2 cups sugar
  
• 1/2 cup buttermilk plus 1 teas soda mixed together
  
• 2 eggs beaten
  
• 1 teas. vanilla
  
• 1 1/2 cups small marshmallows
  
• 1/2 cup butter
  
• 1/2 cup shortening
  
• 1 cup coke
  
• 3 Tbls. cocoa
  
• ICING:
  
• 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  
• 3 Tbls. cocoa
  
• 6 Tbls. coke (1/3 can)
  
• 1 box powdered sugar (4 3/4 cups)
  
• 1 teas. vanilla
  
• Beat until smooth the add 1 cup chopped pecans
  






Instructions



1. Sift together flour and sugar
   
   
2. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and marshmallows
   
   
3. Mix in saucepan to melt butter, shortening, coke and cocoa.
   
   
4. Blend dry ingredients with wet and pour into greased and floured 13x9 inch pan
   
   
5. bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
