    Source of Recipe

    Recipe Introduction

"This is great for any meal, but is great for breakfast. The syrup from the apples is great on homemade waffles. You may add raisins to the sauce if you wish." Original recipe yield: 4 cups.

    List of Ingredients

    1/4 cup butter
4 large tart apples - peeled, cored and sliced 1/4 inch thick
    2 teaspoons cornstarch
    1/2 cup cold water
    1/2 cup brown sugar
    1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

    Recipe
