    GRANDMA'S MARSHMALLOW TREATS

    Source of Recipe

    variation of Kellogg's

    Recipe Introduction

So easy, this one. I don't know why everyone doesn't make these. My grandkids say mine are the best, so here it is, for them, someday.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1/3 cup regular margarine or butter
    • 40 regular marshmallows or 4 cups mini marshmallows
    • 6 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies (must be the real Rice Krispies for best taste)
    • A spoonful of marshmallow creme.....almost any amount, it makes it a little creamier.

    Instructions

    1. Melt margarine in 3 quart saucepan.
    2. Add marshmallows and cook over low heat stirring constantly until marshmallows are melted and mixture is very syrupy.
    3. Add spoonful of marshmallow creme and stir until melted.
    4. Remove from heat.
    5. Add rice krispies and stir.
    6. Press warm mixture evenly and firmly into 13"x9"x2" pan.
    7. Go ahead, eat 'em while they're warm!
