    Chilies Rellenos Casserole

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 can whole green chilies
    • 1½ cups shredded colby monterey jack cheese
    • ¾ lb. ground beef
    • ¼ cup chopped onion
    • 1 cup milk
    • 4 eggs
    • ½ cup flour
    • ¼ tsp. salt
    • 1/8 tsp. pepper


    Instructions


    1. Split chilies and remove seeds. Dry on paper towels. Arrange chilies on the bottom of greased 2 qt. baking dish. Top with cheese. In skillet, brown beef and onion, drain. Spoon over cheese. In bowl, beat milk, eggs, flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Pour over beef mixture. Bake uncovered at 350° 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in middle comes out clean. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
