    I had to compromise one evening for Burning a whole 2 boxes of zattarans . time was getting close i had made the zattarans in my aluminum dutch oven and stupid me walked away forgetting to reduce the heat and it burnt so . With limited time that evening I got out my 7 cup wolfgang puck rice cooker and I fixed my mess with something ten times more delicious then any boxed mix could dream of being. here's my recipe.

    List of Ingredients




    4 cups dried(rinsed)Carolina Long Grain White rice
    2 cans swanson chicken broth or enough to cover rice
    2 tablespoons Italian Seasoning
    2 tablespoons Mccormick's garlic pepper seasoning
    2 pinches red pepper flakes (2-3 pinches depends on how hot you like it)

    put all these ingredients in your rice cooker and cook according to manufactures directions if you have the on off switch type just switch it down to cook. Anyhow make sure to rinse and soak rice first as most require. makes it tastier and less likely to stick and gets rid of any rice germ /grit etc. left on the rice.
