    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. liquid shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. sour milk
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 1/2 c. rhubarb
    1/2 c. finely chopped nuts

    Recipe



    Pour into two greased and flour loaf pans 2/3 full. Sprinkle topping over top: 1/2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. butter. Bake at 325 for 40 minutes.
