- 1 1/2 lbs. beef boneless sirloin steak
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup redwine vinegar
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 10 lg. flour tortillas
- 2 lg. onions, sliced
- 2 med. bell peppers cut into 1/4 inch strips
- 2 tbs. vegetable oil
- shredded cheese
- sour cream
Instructions
- Trim excess fat from beef steak. Prick beef with fork in several places.
- Mix 1/4 cup oil, vinegar, sugar, oregano, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in ungreased square baking dish or large ziploc bag.
- Marinate beef in mixture for up to 24 hours (the longer the better the flavor).
- Grill until done to your preference; let sit for 10 minutes.
- Saute bell peppers and onions in 2 tbs. vegetable oil until tender.
- Slice beef into 1/4 inch slices, against the grain.
- Assemble on tortillas.
