    Beef Fajitas

    • 1 1/2 lbs. beef boneless sirloin steak
    • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
    • 1/4 cup redwine vinegar
    • 1 tsp. sugar
    • 1 tsp. dried oregano
    • 1 tsp. chili powder
    • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    • 1/2 tsp. salt
    • 1/4 tsp. pepper
    • 10 lg. flour tortillas
    • 2 lg. onions, sliced
    • 2 med. bell peppers cut into 1/4 inch strips
    • 2 tbs. vegetable oil
    • shredded cheese
    • sour cream


    Instructions


    1. Trim excess fat from beef steak. Prick beef with fork in several places.

    2. Mix 1/4 cup oil, vinegar, sugar, oregano, chili powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper in ungreased square baking dish or large ziploc bag.

    3. Marinate beef in mixture for up to 24 hours (the longer the better the flavor).

    4. Grill until done to your preference; let sit for 10 minutes.

    5. Saute bell peppers and onions in 2 tbs. vegetable oil until tender.

    6. Slice beef into 1/4 inch slices, against the grain.

    7. Assemble on tortillas.
