    Source of Recipe

    Cys

    Recipe Introduction

Cys made this when I was living in Germany with her. Miranda and Jason really like this recipe and can't get enough of it.

    List of Ingredients

    • 1 1/2 lbs. chicken breasts
    • 1 tsp. lemon pepper
    • 1/4 tsp. onion powder
    • 2 tbs. margarine or butter
    • light cream or milk
    • 2 tsp. flour
    • 1 tbs. Dijon style mustard
    • Cooked rice

    Instructions

    1. Rinse chicken; pat dry. Sprinkle both sides of chicken with lemon pepper and onion powder. In a skillet cook chicken in margarine or butter over medium heat about 20 minutes or until tender and no longer pink, turning once. Transfer to a platter; keep warm.
    2. For sauce, measure pan juices; add light cream or milk to make 2/3 cup liquid. Return to skillet.
    3. Stir 1/4 cup light cream or milk into flour; add to juices mixture. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Cook and stir for 1 to 2 minutes more. Stir in mustard. Serve over rice.
