List of Ingredients
Phase A
1 tsp. (5ml) Natural Jojoba
1 tsp. (5ml) Triglyceride
1/2-1 tsp. (1-2 g) Pigment Blend yellow or rose based
1/2-1 tsp. (1.2-2.4 g) Titanium Dioxide
½-1 tsp. (1-2 g) Bismuth Oxychloride
Phase B
1/2 tsp. (1.5 g) Sheabutter
1/4 tsp. (1 g) Sorbitan Stearate
1/4 tsp. (1.3 ml) Polysorbate 60
1/2 tsp. (1 g) Cetyl Alcohol
Phase C
2 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. (35 ml) Hot Distilled Water
½ tsp. (2.5 ml) Sorbitol
Phase D
8 drops Paraben-DU
1 - 3 drops Fragrance or Essential Oils
Recipe
Add all ingredients of phase A into a mortar and disperse pigments with the pistil. Add phase B into a disinfected heat resistant glass jar and place the mixture in a hot water bath or microwave to melt it slowly (maximum 150oF or 67oC). Remove it from the heat. Add phase A to phase B. While still hot, add phase C to phase A/B and stir the mixture continuously until it is a homogenous cream. After the temperature has dropped to about 90o F (35oC) add phase D and stir again.
If you do not like the shade you can change it by adding more titanium dioxide to make it lighter or adding more pigment blend to make it darker. Before adding one of these ingredients disperse them in 1/2 tsp. of triglyceride.
