    8 oz. flour
    2 oz. butter
    Cream to mix

    Recipe



    Rub the butter into the flour and make into a stiff paste with cream.
    Roll out very thin and cut into small rounds. Bake on a backstone or
    girdle; turn once or twice until lightly browned. Split, butter and
    serve hot.
