    A simple but delicious snack from the heart of England

    List of Ingredients




    1 medium eating apple
    Lemon juice
    2 slices of hot buttered toast
    2 sausages (cooked and sliced)
    Apple chutney
    3oz (75g) Sage Derby cheese (grated)
    Paprika to garnish

    Recipe



    Core, slice and dip the apple into lemon juice. Arrange on toast and place sausage on top. Spread a little chutney over the sausage and sprinkle cheese on top. Grill until the cheese is bubbling. Sprinkle paprika to garnish.

    Serve hot.
