    Eastbrook's Royal Roast Mutton Leg

    List of Ingredients




    ½ leg of mutton
    2 tbsp of butter
    1 onion
    Garlic (as preferred for flavour)
    1 tsp ginger
    1 cup of water
    1 tbsp flour
    Salt and pepper
    1 tomato

    Recipe



    Crush the garlic.
    Rub mutton with garlic, salt and pepper.
    Fry all sides in butter.
    Add ginger, tomato, onion and water.
    Roast in hot oven for 1½ hours, until cooked to your preference, adding extra water if needed.
    For gravy:
    Add flour and more water to pan and blend well for smooth gravy.

    Strain and serve.
