    # 2 large pork chops, well trimmed of excess fat
    # Applesauce (seerecipe )
    # Glaze (recipe follows)
    # Brown sugar for topping applesauce

    Recipe



    Place frenched (bone left on and well trimmed of excess fat) pork chops on a grill and cook on each side until done. No seasonings are needed, since a glaze is being used. Place grilled pork chops into the glaze while it is still in the pan on the stove top and turn frequently until they are well coated. Serve hot glazed pork chops on a plate along with a generous portion of hot applesauce topped with a little brown sugar.

    Glaze

    # Applesauce (any canned sauce may be used), 1/2 cup - 1 cup
    # 2 tablespoons brown sugar
    # 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
    # Dijon mustard to taste
    # Butter to taste

    Over medium heat place applesauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and Dijon mustard into a saucepan and stir until all is heated. Continue stirring and add butter to pan and stir to cream and smooth out the glaze.
