Lincolnshire Country Soup with Shrimps

4 Leeks finely sliced
2 Medium sized potatoes, peeled and diced
2 pints Water
2tblspns Single cream
2 Chicken stock cubes
½ pint Peeled shrimpsRecipe
Melt butter in a saucepan. Add leeks. Warm the leeks and spoon over butter for 5 minutes. Add potatoes and heat gently for 3 minutes. Dissolve the chicken cubes in hot water and add to the pan. Cook gently for 30 minute Liquidize or pass through a fine sieve. This can be kept in a fridge overnight until ready for serving. When ready for serving add seasoning and shrimps until shrimps are warmed through add a little cream and serve.
