    ½ lb. of fine oatmeal
    2 ozs. self raising flour
    Pinch of salt
    2 ozs. suet
    2 ozs. currants

    Recipe



    Mix all dry ingredients well together; then mix to a firm dough with water or milk. Make into trollies about the size of an egg and boil in any soup for 45 minutes.

    Delicious with boiled bacon.
