    8 slices 2 day old high quality bread (do not use Wonderbread for this)
    2 cups grated Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheddar Cheese
    4 Tsp butter
    3 eggs
    3/4 cup instant nonfat dry milk
    1 1/4 cups water
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
    4 slices tomato (optional)

    Preheat oven to 350o.

    Butter 8-inch square baking dish. Pace 4 slices of bread in bottom and
    cover with 1 cup of the grated cheese (You may have to cut the bread to fit
    the dish. If you do, make 8 equal sized slices).

    Butter one side of the remaining slices of bread with 1 tsp of butter each.
    Top dish with bread, buttered sides up. Top with remaining cheese.

    Mix remaining ingredients except optional tomato, and beat until very light
    and frothy. Pour over cheese sandwiches and let sit 15 minutes. Or, you
    can put the whole thing, covered, in the fridge for a few hours before
    baking.

    Bake 50 minutes, uncovered. Or, after baking 40 minutes, top sandwiches
    with tomato slices and return to oven, cooking an additional 10 minutes.
