List of Ingredients
4 ounces Egg noodles
8 ounces Cottage cheese
4 ounces Cream cheese
4 ounces Sour cream
1/3 cup Green pepper -- chopped
4 small Green onions -- chopped
1/2 pound Lean ground beef
8 ounces Tomato sauce Recipe
Cook noodles in boiling, salted water. In a bowl combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream.
Add pepper and onion to cheese mixture. In a skillet, brown meat and add tomato sauce. Cook until mixture thickens slightly. In a greased 1-at casserole dish, layer noodles, cheese mixture and meat sauce, then repeat. Cook in 350~F oven until cheees mixture bubbles up through meat and dish is hot throughout.
Serve immediately with bread, green salad and milk - makes a complete meal. Margaret Garland
