1 medium sized pot roast
4 medium sized potatoes, peeled and cut in half
1 onion, diced
1 package baby carrots
1/2 package frozen peas
1/4 to 1/2 cup red wine (any kind)

Ms. Garland says, "I've cooked this a thousand times, and it's always wonderful."

Place all of the vegetables in the bottom of a crock pot, with meat on top. Add the wine and cook on low for 8-10 hours until tender. Serves 4. Add warm sourdough bread and a salad for a complete meal.
