    Joe Walsh's Tuna Fish Casserole

    Source of Recipe

    Cookin' Up the Blues

    List of Ingredients

    1 (16-ounce) box shell pasta

    1 tablespoon olive oil

2 (6-ounce) cans tuna fish packed in water

1 (6-ounce) can of peas, drained

2 (103/4-ounce) cans condensed golden mushroom soup

2 teaspoons Tabasco or other hot sauce

    4 (1-ounce) slices American cheese

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

On stove top, bring a large pot of salted water to boil over high heat. Add pasta and cook according to package directions. Drain and place noodles in a 3-quart buttered casserole dish. Add olive oil and stir to coat the noodles, set aside.

In a large bowl, combine tuna, peas, soup and Tabasco and mix well.

Place mixture over reserved noodles and spread evenly. Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and stir contents of pot to combine. Return to oven, uncovered, and bake an additional 10 to 15 minutes or until bubbling. Lay slices of cheese over top and return to oven, uncovered, for 10 to 15 minutes or until cheese is golden brown and edges of casserole are beginning to crisp.

Remove from oven and serve hot.
