    List of Ingredients




    1 lb ground bison
    1/2 cup diced onion
    1/2 cup diced green pepper
    1/2 cup diced red pepper
    1/2 cup diced celery
    2 Tbsp dark chili powder
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp cumin
    1 16 oz can diced tomato
    1 16 oz can chili beans
    1 16 oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 46 oz can tomato juice
    1 1/2 tsp chopped cilantro.

    Recipe



    Brown ground bison with onion, peppers, and celery. Drain grease and blend in chili powder, garlic powder, and cumin. Add chili beans, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, tomato juice and cilantro. Simmer over medium heat uncovered for 1 1/2 hours. Bison is very low in cholesterol and extremely high in protein.
