    2# lean ground beef
    4 medium onions - chopped fine
    2 cloves garlic - minced
    1 8 oz cans tomato sauce
    1 1/2 teaspoons white vinegar
    1/4 t ground red pepper
    4 small whole dried chili peppers*
    1 t ground allspice
    1 t ground cinnamon
    1 t ground cumin
    2 T chili powder*
    8 C water
    2 dashes Worcestershire Sauce
    5-6 whole bay leaves
    2 t salt (not optional)
    1 1/4 t ground black pepper
    *Adds heat, use less if desired
    NOTES: For more flavor, measurements of the dry spices can be heaping teaspoons/Tablespoons

    DO NOT BROWN MEAT
    Place ground beef in water and break up with hands add all other ingredients in deep soup pot and bring to boil.
    Reduce heat to low and continue to break up the meat. It should be crumbly not chunky.
    Cook over low for several hours until it thickens. (4 hours)

    Serve over thick spaghetti noodles witht he following toppings.

    Serving Options:
    1 way- over thick spagehetti noodles
    2 way - topped with chili
    3 way -topped with finely grated sharp cheedar cheese
    4 way - topped with diced onions
    5 way - topped with kidney beans.
